A Wonderful day a Calvary

.

Sunday January 29, 2006 is a wonderful morning at Calvary. For me I started at Starbucks with a venti mild blend with a Apple Fritter. You got to try it. You'll love it for only $1.95 it like a super size donut. With some bible reading and getting ready to go Choir Practices. It started off great.

Before I found that Amy be off this Sunday. I still happy being at Calvary. After waiting for a moment for the rest of the choir to show up. For whom to be happy to see Amy showed. Monday for Amy was a bad day for her. Read Amy BLOG Talk With the Preacher Subject: A Tale of Woe. So their were two John started the church today. Today Sermon "Demonic Distractions" remind of something I read out of UPPER ROOM plus today service about "Read MARK 1:21-28" Before church, pastor and Amy. Their was Jesus was the teacher of his people and all the people of the land. Jesus was their teaching the living word what his father give to us. I had a great time. But their were a less visitors today. I wish that the rain will not stop people from coming to church.

For me if I don't know Amy reading this. That is always great to see the pastor who is one of the important part of the church being their. Last time she had a bad cold. But I'm happy she safe and in one piece!!

Plus this week is the 140year of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart birthday.

After church their held the 2006 Budget meeting. I said yes to my self on more money for the choir. YES!!!

New Start, New Year and a Fair well to good friend

January first a New Year for me and a new beginning. It was Brenda, Jose and Will. It started with a Preparation for Baptism with Rev. Edger, Call to Commitment with Amy. Amy perform the Christian Baptism on Will and Edgar on Brenda and Jose. Baptismal Affirmation perform by Amy.

"Than Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin..." (Acts 2.38)

As she rase her right hand and gave to word to the baptism.

It was the best thing I did in my life. To start my life right. But the water was great. I lost my footing in the water in a was floting for a two or three seconds. The Baptism pool had flower petal in the water.

After the Baptism with the three member. But after word it was very cool going down stair to the rest room.

After we all dryed off we started up the stairs to gone congation to make our Testimonies that brought us to the faith of were Lord Jesus Christ.

Good morning Calvary Baptist. It is Washington, DC is my birth place and brought up in Arlington Virginia . I Started in St Anthony's Catholic Church after year my family been away from the church so many years. Somone told me I should go to church. Then September 11, 2001 came after someone told me got get out that someone bomb the building. Right away I started out of the Pentagon. It was like time was slow down. Then I now God had something in store for me but I didn't know what it was. I look back GOD had something in store for me but it was not my time for me to get it.

Amy had to help me holding the mice.

After seeing Lfe Behind and after that I tried to start reading the Old Testament it was so heard. I lost my way so after so many years. I lost my way so after so many year. Then February 2005 some one been a big change in my life gave me hope. One day I One day I told my friend are you "malak" The Hebrew word which mean "Messenger of God". This person told I need the go to church and get more invole with the church.

So I started for about next four month in Our Lady of Lourdes. I talk to some people at the church. Plus I was thinking that I didn't get to now anybody to much and name while I going to that church for the time I attend the church. The person said "You are going to a Christianity church.

So it had me thinking I need to choose my own type of church. I choose Baptist because the people that the most of my life are Bptist. One day I was walking down china town that I saw it was a Baptist Church three of the member ivite me in the Clvary. It been cents morning August 28, 2005 first person is John Mein introduce Amy Butler it was a great pleasure to meet Amy

When the service started I saw Amy walk up in the front in the pulpit of the church that Amy is the Paster of Calvary. After three week in the church. Someone told me to look in joining with the choir. My first choir three weeks later. I was wonderful to be in the choir to be singing hymns. Plus was Invitated to join the ypfait group. For me going the choir practice on Thursday I got to see some of many wonderful thing Calvary dues for the people of Washington, DC

Does anyone now God have a sense of humber. Well it is written

"HE WHO SITS IN THE HEAVEN SHALL LAUGH." (PSALM 2:4 *NKJV)

Plus I what to thank Amy Butler, John Mien, Jody, Tanya for helping me show me the light, John for show me their so many wonder thing in life in Calvary, Jody and Amy for the wonderful Adult, Young Adult Bible study I found out that the bible is a grea book I think everybody should read it and Tonya for helping me back to Calvary on the Help the Homeless walk. Plus John at Camp Fraser on getting me home Thursday night. I know I hear only five month but to me it feel like I know them for a long time. I thank ful that I'm part of the family of Calvary. I'm looking to get to know all my family in Calvary.

I was sitting with the member. I was happy to see Chuck and Amy was their. Their was some of the member I wish their was their for my baptism. I want to shair my moment with my family at Calvary. After their was the we held the Holy Communion

The Thayers are leaving to be closer to their grandchild. I and the people of Calvary with miss them. January 15 the last day their being their.

Yes on that Sunday morning January 15th I was at the Chior class when John pop up to say I not sing in the choir today. It was nice to get to see John sister in law. Plus on Christmas Eve I got to see his two sons.

I was a wonderful service. There were a lot of visitors. Plus what Amy said on her BLOG site "People laughed at my jokes (no, this does not happen every week)" But to me their where many happy fase in throw out the congregation. I'll look back on this on the future BLOG page.

Sorry it been over a month late. But I just want this to be just right for you'll to read. I'm not a great speller.
